Streaming with Synchronous Audio Router from Bitwig

This post is about how I got Bitwig to stream audio to the internet in real time, while still working with my audio interface over ASIO, using Synchronous Audio Router (SAR). I’m just streaming audio to an Icecast server using BUTT, but the steps would be mostly the same for getting Bitwig’s audio into OBS if you want to stream video too.
Before trying SAR I did some Googling and found a lot of people recommending Voicemeeter.

This was a quick mess-around with a couple of the free LABS instruments from Spitfire Audio. They sound fabulous.
The one complaint is the attack time on the choir instrument. Even if you dial down the knob to zero, there’s still enough attack in the samples themselves that you can’t do a moderately fast melody.
